In the realm of music making, I am a “purist” in the sense that I do this because I love it.  I pursue this endeavor with unbridled passion.  I have had many successful collaborations and these have often developed into meaningful friendships that I cherish dearly.

My approach to the music I make is that I allow my influences to direct what I do.  My musical influences started with rockers that include Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton.  I also have more eclectic influences from lesser known artists in all different genres of music.  Some of these are the talented singers and songwriters that I jam with at Philadelphia Folksong Society events.

I want to extend a sincere thank you to many people who are supporting my musical career, especially my songwriting partner Andy Mozenter, my bandmates in the Savoy Rumblers and the Party Crashers, my son Jim Perlsweig, and most lovingly and dearly to my very beautiful and most wonderful wife, Jeanette, with whom I make beautiful music.
